Estimation of Ascorbic Acid Content in Some Selected Fruits Grown in Mandya District, Karnataka

The ascorbic acid content of selected fruits was collected from a local market Mandya and Maddur in these were determined by volumetric method using 2,6-dichlorophenol indophenol. results obtained confirms the presence fruits. highest yield found Guava lowest different tested. These suggest that wide variety can be consumed to meet daily requirements vitamin C cost-effective manner.
